Helenna Xu

Helenna is a senior from Chicago, Illinois majoring in the Program of Liberal Studies and Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. She is actively engaged in policy research, law, and volunteer work, utilizing her skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in her community.

As the Chief Executive Officer at the Jubilee Initiative for Financial Inclusion (JIFFI), she leads the organization's efforts in empowering the South Bend Community through microfinance and combating predatory payday lending. Alongside her academic pursuits and professional responsibilities, she has also served as the President of Circle K International at Notre Dame, actively engaging in service, leadership, and fellowship opportunities. Outside of JIFFI, she is a Director of Projects for SPN, a fellow of the Tocqueville Fellowship, and a part of the Strike Magazine.
