2025 Case: Child Care

Case Overview

In the 2025 DEI Grow the Good in Business™ Case Competition, students will tackle the critical question of how businesses can play a role in reducing barriers to high-quality child care. Access to affordable and high-quality child care is a persistent challenge, disproportionately affecting single parents, women and lower-income families. Inclusive workplaces understand the importance of supporting the wide-ranging needs of employees, including family responsibilities, and recognize that child care support not only enhances accessibility but also makes workplaces more attractive to a broad range of talent. Moreover, robust child care policies are essential for ensuring that caregivers have an equal opportunity to thrive professionally. Through this year's case competition, students will explore how thoughtful business strategies can drive meaningful change in this space, making a positive impact on families, workplaces and communities.
