Kirsten Wilcox

Kirsten Wilcox is the incoming director of the KinderCare center at Notre Dame, bringing nearly 30 years of early childhood education experience to the role. She began her career as a preschool teacher, and her passion for early childhood education has never faltered. Throughout her career, she has served as a preschool Head Start teacher, an education coach, program manager, and Head Start site supervisor.

Wilcox is committed to crafting a safe, supporting, and inspiring educational environment. She strives to recognize each child’s uniqueness and provide personalized learning. This detailed approach to child care is designed to nurture curiosity and confidence. She is dedicated to enhancing educational development, strengthening family involvement, and deepening connections within the Notre Dame community.
