David Dwumah is the Founder and CEO of OurFiin, a purpose-driven fintech company focused on narrowing the wealth gap and strengthening financial wellness through equitable, inclusive innovation. Raised in Ghana, David was inspired early by Susu, a traditional community-based savings practice that shaped his belief in collective financial empowerment and continues to inform his work advancing financial inclusion through trusted digital infrastructure.

He brings over two decades of experience across banking, payments, and financial market infrastructure, including senior roles at Ernst & Young, Citizens Bank, and within the Federal Reserve System, where his work supported Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury financial services and payments-related national priorities.

A founder, educator, and governance-oriented thinker, David works at the intersection of institutional payments, digital money, and financial market modernization. He is widely recognized for advancing innovation with discipline and restraint, emphasizing trust, liquidity resilience, and long-term stability as digital finance evolves. He also introduced the concept of The Tokenized Decade™ to describe the structural shift underway in global financial infrastructure.

David previously served as a Board Advisor to the U.S. Faster Payments Council, contributing to its Financial Inclusion Workgroup and ESG Subgroup, and supporting national education and thought leadership on real-time payments and inclusive finance. He also serves as a Steward of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism.

He currently teaches Cryptocurrencies, Digital Currencies, Financial Markets, and Financial Management at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Business School. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Science in Information Systems from Baylor University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
