2026 Case: Inclusive Financial Systems

Case Overview

In the 2026 Grow the Good in Business™ Case Competition, students will confront the urgent question of how businesses can help build a more accessible and inclusive financial system. Millions of individuals and small businesses still face significant barriers to affordable payments, credit and financial services—challenges that disproportionately affect lower-income households, gig workers, immigrants and underserved communities. As innovative tools like stablecoins and faster payment technologies emerge, businesses have a unique opportunity to expand financial access, strengthen economic mobility and support the long-term well-being of the people and communities they serve.

This year’s competition invites students to design responsible, scalable solutions that address real-world financial inclusion challenges and explore how cross-sector collaboration—with government, nonprofits, fintechs and philanthropic partners—can accelerate impact. Through this work, students will examine how thoughtful business strategies can drive meaningful change in financial systems, contributing to a fairer, more resilient economic future for all.
